#KISSWatchReview: Longines Admiral Diver Ref. 7464
With a small wrist like mine, this 38mm diver fits very well, especially with the pairing of the tanned suede leather that I've thrown on here. With a certain Submariner-esq appeal in the bezel, the tool diver comes delivered with a robust case that tucks neatly beneath the bezel. I like how the design on the dial allocates just the right amount of space for the indices and silver markings. Not to forget the nice set of hands that throw a little character into the face, escaping out-right cries of "homage!" The machine underneath beats at a nice 28,800vph which sees the seconds hand sweeps nice and smooth too - always something nice to admire. Perhaps my only gripe is the very flat profile of the watch crystal and bezel. While other divers will attempt a bevel that sees the use of a dome crystal and a sloping bezel, this watch has decided to throw out a wide flat surface, perhaps make the dial a little more broader to compensate for the smaller case size.
The #KISSWatchReview is a series of short and sweet watch reviews for pieces that have spent a considerable time on my wrist.
